The first of Workshops x Sandhya Shekar’s collaborative series, In The Spotlight with Daniel Kolaric deep dives into the glamorous world of runway and fashion makeup. This 3 day intensive masterclass is designed for emerging and professional makeup artists who aspire to learn the tricks and tips of making the next head-turning look.
This comprehensive masterclass will be led by professional makeup artist and hairstylist Daniel Kolaric, the creative responsible for Julia Fox’s iconic exaggerated graphic liner at the Schiaparelli show during Paris Couture Week. Participants will get an exclusive insider’s view into the inner workings of the fashion industry, learn about creative prep work, acquire hands-on practice at creating the most eye-catching (literally) looks, and receive personalised feedback during these sessions.
The interactive masterclass has been co-designed and structured exclusively for the Indian market by Daniel Kolaric and Sandhya Shekar. It promises to enhance your professional skill set through creative concept ideation, monitored execution, and one-on-one feedback sessions. This 3 day in-depth masterclass is structured to increase your knowledge and propel your career to the next stage.
Meet The Expert
Daniel Kolaric was born in Germany, grew up in Slovenia, and then moved to London. As a child, he was interested in all-things fashion and dreamed of designing trendsetting looks for the runway. He attended hairstyling and makeup schools to master the craft. Today, Daniel works closely with British makeup artist Pat McGrath at the forefront of the global beauty and fashion industry creating looks for designer shows and celebrities.
Throughout his extensive 17 year career, he has built an impressive roster of clients which includes prominent names such as Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Kendall Jenner, Sara Sampaio, and Julia Fox to name a few. He is also a well-known presence backstage during Milan, Paris, London, and New York Fashion Week; he works alongside Pat McGrath to create some of the iconic looks for the shows.
“I am very excited to share my knowledge at this masterclass,” says Daniel. “I look forward to sharing insights into the fashion and beauty industry, tricks of the trade, and my personal experiences with my Indian peers.”
